It seems that emoji, gifs, and memes are increasingly used as ways to communicate. Love it or hate it (we love it), it’s here to stay. Today, two notable products dropped in the emoji world from two very different sources.

swiftmoji

First, SwiftKey is testing a new keyboard called “Swiftmoji” that brings quick emoji search without the need to jump to a separate keyboard. For now, the app is in beta and as such requires that you join the beta group right over here.

Separately…In the emoji world there’s been a lack of any real bearded representation. It’s a grave travesty. Indirectly, infamous guitarist Zakk Wylde has fixed our concerns regarding this matter with a new emoji set┬ávia an app called Emoji Fame (iOS App Store link). While this particular app doesn’t make it as nice and simple to integrate said emoji inline inside of any app, until the consortium that decides on which emoji become “official”, this is as good as it gets.

Needless to say, emojis are still a hot item.
