Ally Bank adds Apple Pay support. Android and Samsung Pay in the works.

unnamedAs a rather progressive (looking, at least) bank, Ally has been one of the biggest banks to resist adding Apple Pay support. That rough patch customers have had to endure however, is finally over with the announcement today by Ally that customers can now begin adding Ally-issued cards to Apple Pay. While we’re excited to have it added to the list, Apple Pay is but one service.

What about the Android/Samsung Pay users out there? You’re also (soon to be) in luck with Ally also mentioning that support for the aforementioned two services is in the works and should be released in the not too distant future. Of course, that could mean 2 weeks or 8 months. We’ll keep our fingers crossed for the former.
