Google updates Hangouts for mac.

If you’ve been using (or attempted to use) the Google Hangouts Mac app, you no doubt have experienced how absolutely awful it was. While we’ll forgo asking ourselves how/why Google would ever release something like that to the public, it still makes us think… how long can this madness go on? Apparently, today is the end of the road. But in a good way.

As you can see above, it’s a much nicer layout. Really, it’s the version that Google should have released in the first place, or if it really wasn’t ready, hold off and release now. Alas, Mac users finally have a respectable Hangouts app to make use of.

If you don’t see the new paint yet, don’t get too agitated. As Google loves to do, staggered rollouts appear to the be name of the game here as well. Let us know how you like it!
