Samsung has traditionally pushed the boundaries of screen size for smartphones. And then came Huawei’s 6.1-inch monster, the Ascend Mate. But ZTE would like you to know they too can play in this game. Today, the company teased their Grand Memo before its official MWC debut.
The Grand Memo is indeed grand in dimensions, featuring a 5.7-inch display (sorry, no 1080p) with 1280 x 720 resolution, a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor and 13-megapixel camera. The battery is rumored to be ~3,000 mAh in size.
Display junkies will probably find fault with it’s display size (it’s not the biggest after all) as well as relatively low resolution for a display of this size. Many manufacturers are starting to move to 1080p panels for their larger screened phones/phablets.
Look for more info soon at MWC.
